Conferences:

UNICEF Tap Project by David Droga

The Tap Project won Droga5 the Titanium Lion for creative innovation. Tap Project – David Droga’s brainchild to bring clean drinking water to children around the globe through a partnership with UNICEF – has taken the US and Canada by storm. Via the project, restaurant patrons, on World Water Day, are asked to donate a minimum of US$1 for the drinking water they would normally get for free. A simple, brilliant idea. Friday 20 June, 16:00 - 16:45 (Debussy)

DRAFTFCB - The Chemistry Of Socially Responsible Marketing

The Dow Chemical Company is bringing science and expertise to world problems such as access to clean water, adequate food supply and energy efficient housing. Hear the guiding forces behind the campaign when Dow, Patti Temple Rocks, and Draftfcb’s, John Claxton, discuss the importance of social responsibility and offer guidance on how best to deliver on that promise. Monday 16 June, 13:00 - 13:45 (Debussy)

SPECIAL FOCUS ON GREENWASHING

An innovative seminar, by Clownfish, will explore one of the newest and most complex challenges facing the communications industry today: 'greenwashing'. It will provide a vital opportunity to reinforce the relevance of sustainability issues to the advertising industry and show that being truly green is as important for branding as it is for supply chains and manufacturing processes. Tuesday 17th at 11am (Debussy)
